- 24.4% of adults have been told by a health professional that they have arthritis, with adults who have completed less than the 9th grade having a higher prevalence (43.6%) compared to adults who have completed a higher level of education
- 29.0% of adults with arthritis reported their health was fair or poor
- 7.5% of adults with arthritis have been told that they have coronary heart disease
